The Tasting Room
Your Corgi Spirits experience starts here. Peruse our eccentric artwork collection while quaffing a cocktail. Kick back in a leather armchair or belly up to our beautiful bar, where our dextrous bartenders await you, eager to wax cocktailian while they introduce you to some impeccably prepared potions to dazzle your palate and lift your spirits.
Tastings are available at any time at the bar during normal business hours. Just tell our bartenders that you'd like to sample our products! We offer tastings of all of our fine spirits for a small fee, but if you buy a bottle to take home we will waive the tasting fee.
Tours are held on the hour throughout the day during regular business hours (not including opening and closing times). Last tour each day is at 8pm. No need to make a reservation, but if you have a group of 10+ people please contact us so we can prepare accordingly. Tours last approximately 15 minutes and are free of charge.
Join us for a magical, botanicaled, and perfectly potable exploration of our distillery. During our tours, you will:
- Meet our Corgi Spirits team
- Get a close-up view of our stills, The Copper Lady and the iStill 500
- Learn how our products are crafted
- Gallivant through our tasting room
- Have the chance to sample our sensational spirits
It's a bona fide fact that cocktails taste better when you're seated in the lap of luxury. Our very own plush drinking parlour offers a quieter, cozier haunt for your to appreciate your pour. Gather with pals around the fireplace, and regale them with tales of your outlandish adventures. Grab a quiet corner around a low-slung card table with your paramour and whisper sweet nothings over a martini or three. Or simply settle in for an afternoon of "me time" — you've earned it.
The Lounge is the ideal space for private events — birthdays, anniversaries, corporate happenings, divorce parties, and the like. Trust us, if you host your group here you'll be the bee's knees.
Faqs: The Distillery & Location
Q: Do you serve food at the distillery?
A: We are partnering with local food trucks and hosting them outside our distillery Friday through Sunday so that you may perfectly pair your cocktails with some fabulous food. You can buy from the trucks and bring your food inside with you to eat along with our delicious drinks! We are a BYOF establishment.
Q: Are dogs allowed at the distillery?
A: Yes, we allow dogs outside at the distillery during the more temperate months, and we would love to meet your pup! Alas, the sticklers at the health code office won't let our furry friends indoors.
Q: Are children allowed at the distillery?
A: While we encourage parents to take some time to themselves and enjoy a date night or day date here without their kids, we understand the difficulty that sometimes takes to organize. We do allow guests under 21 on site on Saturdays and Sundays until 6pm, however they must be accompanied by an adult of legal drinking age. All underage guests will have their hands stamped to indicate to bartenders and staff that they are not of legal drinking age, and no underage guest is permitted to consume any alcohol under any circumstances.
Q: Do you have an outdoor space?
A: We do, and we encourage you to come enjoy our outdoor area during the warmer months. And bring your pups!
Q: Am I required to take a tour in order to try your products?
A: At the moment, yes, NJ state law demands it. We are however in the process of working with our phenomenal local legislators to amend the statutes to make tours optional, so that you can stop in and grab a cocktail without having to do the whole song and dance with us (even though it truly is a lovely song and dance).
Q: Are tastings available?
A: We offer our guests a tasting of three of our products for a $5 fee, however we waive the fee with our most heartfelt compliments if they purchase a bottle to take home with them.
Faqs: Events & Reservations
Q: Do I need a reservation to visit?
A: Not at all! You're welcome to visit us at any time during normal business hours. If you have a larger group and would like to rent The Lounge or the entire distillery (for a fee) for some privacy, please reach out to us. Otherwise, please be mindful that all of our seating is on a first come/first served basis, and people do clamour for our cocktails.
Q: It's my birthday, can I host a party at your distillery?
A: YES! We would love to celebrate with you! Please contact us and we'll be happy to work out the details to reserve some space for you. Please note, however, that there is a fee to have exclusive access to our lounge for the event. EMAIL HERE
Q: Do you host weddings at the distillery?
A: Congratulations, how lovely! To be truthful, we have not yet had a wedding here, and the layout of our space might make it quite difficult for an event of that size. If you're dead set on having our distillery for your venue, please reach out and we can discuss details.
Q: Do you host divorce parties at the distillery?
A: Yes! Out with the old! You do you now. Let's sing along to far-too-loud 90's music and sip on martinis together.
Q: Are there any other kinds of events you have?
A: The sky is the limit. Actually, our 26-foot ceiling is the limit, but that's pretty bloody high. We are planning on having plenty of additional events, and we are open to suggestions. Some of our ideas:
- Corgi dog meet-ups
- Dog adoption days
- International gin & tonic day celebrations
- National gin day
- Charity galas
- Yoga mornings at the distillery
