Jonathan Kirschner Bio:

Jonathan Kirschner, guitarist, composer, and educator, is fast becoming a familiar face at jazz venues and jam sessions throughout New Jersey.  Jonathan studied with legendary jazz guitarist Vic Juris at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University from 2015 to 2019, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance. He has studied both jazz and classical guitar in a variety of programs including the Berklee College of Music Summer Guitar Session and the Litchfield Jazz Camp.

In 2016, Jonathan was a featured performer at the Jazz Sessions Fifth Anniversary Celebration at Chianti Jazz Lounge in Beverly, MA.  In 2014-15, Jonathan played with the Gordon College Jazz Band.  Jonathan plays in many styles, ranging from jazz to classical to rock. Jonathan’s inspirations and influences include Kurt Rosenwinkel, Thelonious Monk, Peter Bernstein, and Ahmad Jamal.

Jeff Dingler Bio: 

Born in 1986 in New York City, Jeff Dingler is a bass player and composer. His bass work on upright and electric has heard him included in a variety of settings covering a wide range of genres of music. From straight ahead jazz in The Adam Makowizc Trio and The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, to Macedonian rhythms with Brad Shepik’s Balkan Peppers, ranging all the way to Ethiopian folk styles of The Addis Acoustic Project.

He has recorded and collaborated with artists spanning six continents- in jazz, world, folk, and commercial music that has been featured on radio and major network television. Jeff’s recent album “In Transit” has received critical acclaim worldwide for its blending of straight ahead jazz and Ethiopian folk music. He currently resides in New York City, but prior had lived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia working two years as professor of jazz studies at Mekene Yesus University and hosting his own radio show "Shades of Jazz" on EBC- the national radio station of Ethiopia. Jeff holds BM and MM music degrees from Rutgers and NYU respectively.
